SilverStarChemical (CEO Jung Chul-Gyeong), headquartered in Gimhae, South Gyeongsang Province, first started production of Polyamide in 2011 under management policies such as 'Choose it', 'Change your habits', and 'Act'.
The first product was for ink binders, and it focused on the scalability and eco-friendliness of polyamide and continued development of technology, so it has enough technology to localize polyamide for hot melt adhesives in 2016.
Since then, it has pioneered overseas export markets and won the top export of $5 million in 2018 and currently has about 20 products.
Hot Melt Adhesive is a product that dissolves heat and gives adhesion.
Since it is a 100% solid that does not use harmful solvents like glue, it has recently expanded to various fields such as automobiles, electricity, and product packaging due to its excellent workability due to its fast drying and no harmful gas or odor.
Typical hot-melt adhesives include EVA and urethane, but they are petroleum-based and vulnerable to fire.
SilverStarChemical's Polyamide Hot Melt adhesive uses 70-80% of the raw materials based on plant maintenance and is highly flame retardant, so it can reduce the risk of fire and avoid using flame retardant, which is regulated as an environmental issue.
